Pricing information is below, both for standard commissions and for specialty items like badges. (Click on the thumbnails for samples of each type of media.) Following that is important information about payment, shipping, content, and copyright. Please read carefully!

Payment:
Payments can be made through Paypal or by mailing a check or money order. In some cases a preliminary down-payment of up to half the cost of the commission may be required up front. Final payment in full is due upon completion of the artwork.

Shipping:
All commissions are sent digitally, via email or web server upload, free of charge. If you wish physical artwork shipped to you (final artwork or preliminary drawings), you will need to pay an additional amount to cover shipping. Badges must be shipped physically, unless you wish to print and laminate the digital file yourself.

Content:
Generally speaking, I do paid commissions with a G or PG-13 rating. Basically, if it's okay on prime-time broadcast television, it's probably okay for a commission. Romantic or playful scenes are okay, but no explicit sexual or extremely violent situations. I may from time to time do tasteful or explicit nudity, but this is solely at my own discretion.

Generally, you should be asking for artwork of your own characters. If you are requesting other people's characters, please obtain their permission first and have them get in touch with me to let me know it's okay.

Copyright Legalese:
Technically speaking, you are purchasing the right to own a physical piece of art (in the case of real media) or an image file (in the case of digital media). You have the right to store and view copies of the artwork on your computers or portable electronic devices, to print copies of the artwork for your personal use only, and to display the artwork in your home. You may have the right to share the image with your friends or post the image to your personal web site or account on forums such as FurAffinity or LiveJournal, as long as my copyright information remains on the artwork.

You do not automatically get the right to publish the image in a printed publication, or to post the image to any web site whose purpose is to make money (for example, through subscriptions) or to promote any other business or service. You do not get the right to sell prints or copies of the image, or to print the image on or sell any kind of merchandise, such as clothing or mousepads. You do not get the right to edit or alter the image in any way, including the removal of any copyright information.* If you want or need these or any other rights, you'll need to ask my permission and negotiate a fair price for the obtaining of those rights.

I retain the right to post a copy of any commission to my web site and/or to certain art forums for the purpose of self-promotion, although I don't post every commission I do. If you prefer to have your commission kept private, please make that clear beforehand.

*One exception: If you ask politely, you'll be allowed to crop the image down to make one (1) icon for use on LiveJournal, FurAffinity, or other such electronic forums.
